Twin Shower

My amazing friend Kristy threw me a shower for the babes. She truly is more than amazing, not only as a party planner, but as a friend. She is always willing to help and be there for me, even though her life is way busier and crazier than mine will ever be. sis-in-laws, love them! Jen (the one in the middle) had twins, boy and girl, and they are alive and well and so is she. She is such a good support. Deni, (pink pants) just had a baby in february and we can't wait for our little guys to be best friends!

Get ready for some serious cuteness, i am telling you  this shower was jaw dropping. Thanks again Kristy and to everyone who helped.

35 weeks

Here i am at 35 weeks. My belly is large and in charge. Its funny when i look back at the pictures i took of my belly when i thought i was big. Now is when i could probably complain about being uncomfortable, but that is about it. Other than being extremely uncomfortable and super hot all the time, things are pretty good. I feel like i am just waiting now. Waiting for my life to change drastically. I went to the doc on wednesday and i am dilated to a 2 but not effaced at all. My doc said since both babies are breech there is no pressure on my cervix to thin it out at all, which is probably a good thing, so these babies will stay in here and cook until they are all done and will be big and healthy. She scheduled me for a c-section or induction on May 16th, if they haven't come, or if they haven't flipped. I am seriously doubting they will be able to flip, they are so tight in there i don't know how they could?

 its really hard to take a picture of my belly, and get it all in the shot. that is why these all look different to me.

And here is halle and i. She looks so cute in this picture i think. And i look pretty amazing myself, ;) Halle loved doing my "makeup" i think i look like a man. 

 I was craving cookies so i had to make some. Halle and miller discovered me when the dough was all ready and they were on it with every spoon in the house to eat the best part, the dough. :)

31 weeks

Here is a little belly shot update. I am 31 weeks today! I am 5 weeks away from being considered full term and 7 away from being induced, if i don't go into labor before then. Average time for women to go into labor with twins is 35 weeks, which is only 4 weeks away, either way i think i can handle what is coming. My body is doing what it should, and these babies are doing what they should. All in all, everything is good.

Sometimes i wish my doc would tell me to take it easy or to go on bed rest so i could be lazy. But that is only sometimes. I really enjoy being able to take my kids to the park for hours on end and keeping my house clean, i know that in the next few years, those opportunities will be few and far between. Anyway here are the belly shots. I don't think they do me justice but here ya go.

MOAB

we took a little weekend trip to Moab with some of our best friends. We had such a good time. We went into Arches national park, did some hiking and let the kids climb rocks and play in the dirt. We all rented a house and it was busting at the seems with adorable kids playing so well and having tons of fun. Halle was so sad when we had to go, even if she had to sleep in the bathtub. :) Here are some pics from the trip. 

 Here we are at Double Arch, a family favorite when i was growing up. You can see how happy my family was to be taking a picture, and how incredibly large i look. Eww!

Miller could have played in the dirt all day. He was in heaven. Wide open spaces, sunshine and dirt.

We brought all the kid's bikes and they were all in heaven riding outside our rented home, which was at the end of this circle that only one other car was there too.

So hot right now! every time i caught a glimpse of my shadow, i was shocked at how big i am.

i love this one of Halle as well, she hates having her picture taken but LOVES to take pictures herself.

That is Corey and the twins Avery and Breckon. Yes they have 2 year old twins. I love having so many friends who have had twins. It's just so reassuring that they are still alive and seem to be happy.

This picture kills me of Miller. What 2 year old makes that face. He cracks me up.

I wanted to hike to Delicate arch (3miles) , but after we took an hour and a half just to hike to Landscape arch(1.5miles) the day before, we decided to just do the 100yard delicate arch viewpoint "hike".

Halle took these shots. One of Russ, and one of her baby. I love it.

Amber and i found the twins and Miller playing in the shower. Good thing they didn't turn on the hot water. 2 year olds, gotta love em.

 All tuckered our from a long weekend. I am a bad mom and forgot sunscreen so we all got a little sunburn on our cheeks. it kind of feels good though to have some sun on my face, and know that i was able to go on a trip 27 weeks pregnant with twins.

Ok so i feel like my belly is getting bigger and i don't really know if it is growing at a normal "twins" pace. So last night i looked up some photos of women at 25 weeks with twins and i got more then i was ready for.

and here are a couple i found online that seemed about right and about where i am. 

And then i saw these pictures of women 36 weeks pregnant with twins, and about shiz a brick!

am i going to look like that???

Oh.  My.  Gosh.  I am.

That first one still gives me chills.

anyway i just had to share. I have been thinking a lot lately about how rough these next couple of months will be. I am a nesting fool and trying to get everything done before i look like a freak of nature and can't do anything. :(


OH and if you have any suggestions for names, feel free to share, i just feel like nothing is good enough for my babes.
